October's News


 

This Month’s News for:    October                               

October is Anti-bullying Month! What can you do to prevent bullying?

·        5th Grade is continuing to study Native American Tribes, and will be moving onto studying explorers this month.
·        6th Grade will be studying Greece
·        5th and 6th Grade will continue to study ecosystems and how they are affected by human impact
·        Homework is sent out daily. Make sure to sign Reading Logs daily!

·        Costume Parade will be at 12:40 on Tuesday, October 31st. Students will be dismissed at 1:34.

·        Our first Wacky Wednesday is on October 18th! Students wear Fall, or Halloween attire, but are not allowed to wear costumes

·        Picture Day is Tuesday, October 17th

·        October Birthdays- Happy Birthday Lyric (10/4), Ocean (10/10), Payton (10/16), and Ms. Krumal (10/8).

Notes, Reminders, and Upcoming Events:
  • November 6th-13th Parent Conferences
  • November 20th-24th Unassigned Days and Thanksgiving Holiday observed- no school
Homework
  • Check Student Homework Calendars daily! Homework is assigned on a daily basis and should be turned in the next day unless otherwise given a different due date.
  • Daily Reading, Math, and Language Arts assignments will be given.
