Room 17’s

5^th and 6^th Grade News

This Month’s of: November                                           ·        5th Grade is continuing to study Explorers this month ·        6th Grade will be studying Greece and Rome ·        Parent Conferences will be held the week of November 6th- November 13th. Students will be released from school at 12:54 daily, except for Tuesday when students are dismissed at 1:34. I look forward to meeting with you all! ·        Veteran’s Day Holiday is November 11th – no school ·        Students will be performing in the MPR with Master Chorale on Friday, November 17th at 9:00 a.m. for parents! We hope you can make it! They have been working very hard! ·        Thanksgiving Holiday and Unassigned Days November 20th- 24th – no school November Birthdays- Happy Birthday Sonny (11/8) and Iztli (11/15)!!!  November is a month that invokes the attitude of gratitude. I want to thank everyone involved at Mt. Washington and in Room 17 that make working with you and your children a delight everyday. Homework Check Student Homework Calendars daily! Homework is assigned on a daily basis and should be turned in the next day unless otherwise given a different due date. Daily Reading, Math, and Language Arts assignments will be given.
