This Week's News 12/05-12/09 2016

Hi Everyone! 

Here is Room 17's 6th Grade news for the week of 12/05-12/09. 

  • In class research has begun on Ancient Civilizations
  • Wacky Wednesday this week is Ugly Sweater Day! 
  • Idioms are the same from last week
  • Pseudonymous Bosch, Author Reading on Thursday
  • Students are working hard for "Caught Being AWESOME" points! If they reach their goal by Friday, they will have a potluck on Friday, December 16, 2016, the last day of school before Winter Break. 
  • Happy Birthday Raymond (12/9)! 
Notes, Reminders, and Upcoming Events: 

Winter Program Performances will be held on Monday, December 12th. Upper Grade performances for parents will be held beginning at 1:00pm in the M.P.R.

Winter Break will be held Monday, December 19, 2016-Friday January 6, 2017. School will resume on Monday, January 9, 2017. 

Homework
Check Student Homework Calendars daily! Homework is assigned on a daily basis and should be turned in the next day unless otherwise given a different due date.

  • Daily Reading, Math, and Language Arts assignments will be given
